7th/8th Grade: Read the next chapter of Sherlock Holmes by Weds. 2/25. Vocabulary test Thurs, and you must present your vocabulary journal before the test.
9th Grade: Read chapter 2 of King Arthur, and write 2 well developed paragraphs on the following topic; What is a hero? Feel free to use examples from any literature you have read.
12th Grade: Bring at least 1 article, 3 pages minimum, to class for dissection. Please read your article before coming to class.
Note: All of this homework was given in class on Thurs. Please complete your work and turn it in on time.
11th grade- do pp 5,6,7 and 8 of the Regents packet you got today.

11th grade- Given claim: Gaming’s benefits outweigh its costs. Explain how you would establish ethos, logos, and pathos for the argument containing this claim (do not make the argument.) “Costs” does not refer to the cost of games, of course.
9th grade- finish handout #4.
APEL&C- apply first 5 steps of the Toulmin method to the EHFaR handout. Also identify ethos, logos, and pathos in the essay.
AP Psych.- review for test MONDAY (topics as previously announced).
10th grade- prepare for previously-announced test (pp 98-112).
