Also take a look here: http://www.nber.org/cycles.html for a list of these recessions and the time it took from peak to trough – from the the high point in the cycle to the lowest. How do the peaks / troughs in the stock market compare with the peaks / troughs in the business cycles? What leads and what follows? Write a detailed description of your observations and your conclussions.
In an essay address the relationship between Willy and his neighbor Charley. How do they relate to one another? You may choose to compare their relationship to the relationship between their children. Does Willy respect Charley? Is he jealous of him? Why is Charley friends with Willy? Why does he help him?
In a recent scene, Willy refuses to accept a job offer from Charley and yet he continues to “borrow” money from him. Why do you think Willy refuses the job offer? Why then does he accept the money handouts?
